Citroën UK's commitment to customer service in the real world and the virtual world has been recognised with multiple honours at the 2012 What Van? Awards.
The Citroën Vans - Business Class programme has taken out the What van? Innovation Award while the Citroën Ready To Run special vehicles programme has won the What Van? One-Stop-Shop Award for the fifth year in a row. To top it off - and as a nice follow-on from winning the best website in the Car Dealer magazine e-wards - Citroën UK's car website gained a highly commended mention in the What Van? website category.
Judges were especially impressed by the Business Class programme for Citroën's new vans, most notably for the high standard of after-sales service on offer to Citroën's LCV customers across 90 Citroën Business Centre outlets nationwide. This programme provides a wide range of services to make life easier for businesses.
As well as service at the Business Centre outlets, there are eco-friendly, fuel-efficient vehicles on offer with Citroën's '5 Star' Euro 5 LCV engine programme and a wide range of LCVs. For additional peace of mind, the Citroën Trafficmaster Smartnav and Trackstar stolen vehicle tracking telematics package are also on offer so valuable time isn't wasted with drivers getting lost and in the unfortunate event of theft, there's a much greater chance of retrieving the vehicle.
Martin Hamill, Citroën's Head of Commercial Vehicles and Business Sector, said: 'This programme is completely focused on delivering an outstanding level of customer service and the widest range of state-of-the-art LCV products.'
Meanwhile, the Ready to Run programme took out the One-Stop-Shop award for the fifth time largely thanks to an expansion of this service. The Ready to Run programme offers specialist van conversions for crew cab vans, dropside truck, glass-carrying vans, high cube/low loading vans, Luton vans, minibuses, refrigerated vans, tippers and - a real boon to British businesses with rising fuel prices - dual fuel petol/LPG van conversions.
'The Citroën Ready to Run programme remains the most comprehensive and best of its type available in the UK,' said Scott Michael, Citroën's Commercial Vehicle Operations Manager. 'We are very pleased that the What Van? 2012 Awards once again recognise Citroën's continuing efforts to ensure that its Ready to Run programme remains ahead of competitors' offerings in this sector of the LCV market.'
